Apples don’t have vitamin D in them. And the rest of the vitamins in apples are only small quantities. Eat vegetables if you want to eat healthy.
A hand full of sugar snap peas will kick an apple’s butt any day.

“Humans should eat WHATEVER they want” except factory/industry produced stuff.
Humans should eat WHATEVER they want !
Just they shouldn’t sleep and sit all day long…
I don’t eat them as they are way better sources of potassium and the other vitamins bananas contain without the sugar. Our grocery store carries what they call miniature bananas, which are very close to the original banana, and much more in line with what a serving size of banana should be.
All our fruit has been bred to be larger, sweeter, etc., and it wasn’t the wisest move.
Technically speaking peppers, tomatoes, squash, pumpkin, green beans, etc. are fruit indeed. They are, however, classified as vegetables because they aren’t sweet. Fruits classed as vegetables are typically very low in sugar and starch, and often (although certainly not in every case) have many more vitamins than what we call fruit, yet people still tout the “health benefits” of fruits like apples, which have very few nutrients for their sugar and caloric impact. There are much better choices.
Green peppers are fruit.
and who even eats bananas? we domesticated them, not monkeys and other apes.
B12? I thought its only in meat. I’m still feasting on almonds, cashews and dry roasted peanuts. do you realize how heavy fruits are? I can buy a month supply of nuts in one shopping. and fruits rot quickly. oh, I still get myself frozen blueberries. but thats it, thats my staple food and whatever I can think of to buy. you get used to it when you eat less by volume (nutrition is still the same). when I ate bread, my stomach was huge. this way is better.
That would depend completely on the individual’s sensitivity to sugars. My body, for example, does not properly metabolize sugar. On the other hand, fat and protein are excellent sources of energy for me.
There is much information available on finding the right way of eating for an individual. Do a web search for low carbohydrate and primal type diets. For many, moving away from the recommended American diet has been a literal life saver.
Where did you get information that says fruits are not necessary in our diet?
Sugar (from fruit) isn’t the only source of energy, but it happens to be the best source for human bodies.
Look for Farmers Markets: cheap, local and picked ripe.
Too Much isn’t good. But it’s an essential mineral.
