The President points to outrageous premium hikes from health insurance companies already making massive profits as further proof of the need for reform. Looking ahead to the coming bipartisan meeting on reform, the President urges members of Congress to come to the table in good faith to address the issue. February 20, 2010.

When learning about America, you need to start with some basics.
The right to life is the source of all rights-and the right to property is their only implementation. Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.

Thank you President Obama for fighting on the side of the working class against the billionaire insurance companies who have destroyed health care in the United States. Hopefully, we can work together to fight these inhuman monsters and their Republican attack dogs.

@madpinkyfox it’s not just the allegiance but, also the constitution and the declaration of independence. No, we are a republic with democratic elements to it like for example voting for instance. Our government however is based on the republican system. If this was a complete democracy we would have mayhem because “the people” would have complete control.
Why don’t they memorize their speeches like Martin Luther King Jr. had to? You can tell he’s reading; his eyes flicker slightly to the left every couple seconds, which indicates him reading from the right.
