Slick Willy did not do anything. He was the president and not in control of the budget or legistlation. It was the repub congress led by Newt and John Kaisich that created an atmosphere for businesses to thrive. Slick Willy his first 2 yrs had a socialist dem congress similar to today and they failed. Newt slowed the rate of government growth. Slick Willy got the credit but he cant make legistlation or cut spending. Presidents get the credit which is wrong. Slick Willy did not want to cut!
slick willy had no fiscal discipline. He raised taxes the largest in history within 30 days something he said he would not do. For 2 yrs slick willy taxed and spent and the American voters rejected him. Newt using the Contract With America worked. Slick Willy in the first 30 days had unelected Hillary trying to take over the health care system, it failed. Newt created a climate favorable for businesses to expand and create jobs and make a profit. John Kaisich also gets the credit. Willy LOL

After the repubs took over congress lead by Newt did things change. It was John Kaisich and Newt who slowed the rate of gov growth, nothing was cut. The tech stock explosion created many jobs, companies, profits etc, it was not slick willy. I ask you what did Slick Willy do to create jobs? Also how could slick willy go from total socialist policies to growth

Osama Obama said he would cut the yearly deficits in half his first year and balance the budget in his first year. We are on the decline. We are broke and doomed.
I am ashamed to be a Democrat. More than that, I have come to fear my own party. Hatred and corruption – the roots of fascism – are on the march in America as they have never been before, and leading this march is the Democratic Party. Increasingly, mainstream Democrats are uncomfortable with what we see in our party. We may not have a real name for it, but we know it is dangerous.

I’d be a hypocrite if I told his opponents they were out of line for calling Obama a schmuck. I called Bush more than that. However, I didn’t start that until his administration invaded Iraq, three years after he was elected.

Middle-class families are looking for more than empty promises. They want to go back to work. And they want the Democrats who run Washington to stop pursuing a big government, big spending agenda that includes a government takeover of health care, stimulus bills, a new national energy tax and taxpayer-funded bailouts. The recent elections in Massachusetts, Virginia, and New Jersey have shown that voters aren’t buying this rhetoric, and in November well see voters aren’t buying it either.

Clinton was controlled by a Republican Congress for six of his eight years in office, because he was pushing for healthcare reform… Any fiscal responsibility came from them not Clinton…
But Reagan’s economic practices kept us in prosperity from 1983 to 1992… Clinton’s econmic practices kept us in prosperity from 1994 to late 2000 early 2001…

People have to be educated on something. The Bailouts, though fucked up, was necessary. Especially with the auto industry. That’s manufacturing. The banks. That’s money.
