You know D good and well that HC Plan is not worth the paper that it is written on. Fifteen or twenty million people won’t have insurance after all of this is said and done.

Try to be vigilant and safe everyone especially if you fly unless you have your own Learjet.
this was spoken in Congress back in July but still very applicable…imagine this, a Congressman with a brain and some common sense! Would that we had more of his kind in the seats of power in D.C. who are deciding for all of us what kind of health care is best for we, the taxpayers (I say: if you want gov’t run healthcare, then you as gov’t officials, need to be the 1st to sign up….any takers? NOT)

lol, yeah, I’m familar with that liberal tactic, aurora. It’s just like the peer review arguement with global warming, and the rest. The only good science is the science that favors them. Same with polls and studies. If an article doesn’t favor their view they simply call it biased and walk away. They can’t be bothered to back things up.
eltorg- I don’t know what your king has or doesn’t have. If he’s like our current politicians he probably opts out of your health care system in favor of private care. In other words, he doesn’t wait for care while his health declines, like all of your little people have to.
I looked at your wait times, and there is a REASON why people in other countries die sooner from disease. It’s called delayed medical care.
A little off subject, but we are always talking about losing our freedoms on the site. Well now because of big brother we are going to lose more of our freedom. Because of that terrorist landing in Detroit, we are going to get full body scans machines (ELECTRONIC STRIP SEARCH) if you will at major airports. I feel sorry for any 20 something female with a nice body. You know she will be scanned. It’s getting out of control.
Thank you Congressman Rogers. America needs more representatives like you in Washington. Down with Liberals and Progressives the Constitution is what should be guiding this country. I predict a big turnover in Congress in 2010. Obey the Constitution or go home!

I dont know of any poor person providing jobs for the rich, or any person for that matter.
Having been born and grown up in Canada for a quarter century and now been in the U.S for a decade, I can firmly and confidently say that the U.S. system is superior although not perfect. Giving total control to government is always a mistake. Just look at everything else they run.
eltorg: I never called you arrogant. I would describe you as proud & defensive of a nation you clearly love. That pretty much describes most people from most countries.
But you joined in our nation’s health care debate of your own free will, particularly asserting that the US should strongly consider learning from your system.
And so we have.

eltorg: All I’ve done is simply quote your own countrymen and a Norwegian Ambassador who explained very clearly & objectively that Norway’s HC system is suffering from serious problems.
I didn’t give my opinion at all.
I just stated the facts from Norway’s experts. And they were only a small fraction of the people taking much needed action to reform Norway’s problematic system.
Why are so defensive and unable to grapple with the problems troubling your country’s health system?
