250,000 seems small. 250 million US citizens divided by the 1/400 physicians per person would equal 625,000. 625,000 x .73 should equal 456,250.
Then again the 1/400 physicians:person ratio may be a little high and not reflective of the actual number of practicing physicians. You may be right.

as bill nelson pointed out today when the bill passed today he was in favor of the public option and by the time it gets to the floor it will be back in when asked why the republicans were against the bill he said because the insurance companies were against it so to me that is a good thing
